Luis was in touch with me the day before the... read more tour and gave a detailed briefing on what to carry and what to expect and about the pickup details from my hotel. The transport was exactly on time on the day of the tour and drive was a somewhat longer but we did have some stops along the way. Breakfast was served at a local restaurant and then we drove further for an hour to start the hike. The hike was interesting as well. It was somewhat easier to start with and got challenging as we got closer to the lake because of the altitude. The view was spectacular, luckily it was a clear day as well. The guide explained so many interesting things about the lake and Andean traditions. We had breakfast on our way back to Cusco which was very nice and filling, a real treat after the hike. All in all it was well worth the time and money.
